What is a grindstone?
A sharpening stone used for a razor is especially recommended for those who are used to caring for their razor, who have done it for a long time and may also have tried sharpening on other sharpening stones before.

Sharpening your razor is very difficult and if it is done wrong, it is easy for the blade of the razor to be damaged and the knife can no longer be used. Something we think would be very sorry for a nice and expensive investment that a razor is.

That is not to say that a grindstone is not something that can be used. It’s just a matter of being careful and knowing what you’re doing. Therefore, do not start sharpening your fine razor right away, but instead choose other knife blades that you are not as afraid of in order to properly learn how to sharpen a knife. Feel free to also get one or more used cheap razors and practice more before you start sharpening your own fine razor.
