The bristles of the quality pure badger are slightly coarser than other models, which gives a massaging effect on the skin and makes it easy to lather up a creamy foam. It is stiffer than other badger hair, but more flexible than pig bristles. The color of the hair varies from brownish-gray to black.

Care for your shaving brush by always rinsing it through under warm running water after using it. Shake out the water and hang it to dry in a brush rack with the bristles facing down. If the moisture remains at the bottom, the glue can loosen up, so hanging it allows water and soap residue to run off the brush.
