K2e, or Kaizen second edition, is Ariana & Evans’ most popular and recognized soap base that is widely considered to be one of the best in the world.
This improved version builds on an already excellent product, with the addition of yoghurt, lard and beef tallow, creating a soap base with maximum friction between the razor and the skin to reduce the risk of irritation and other skin problems.
However, what sets K2e apart from other soap bases is the wide range of fragrances available – a wide range of both classic and modern scents, making it possible to choose several favourites. Along with an excellent aftershave, the K2e has been designed to be an affordable yet high-quality option for a comfortable and enjoyable shaving experience.

VR1 (Vegan)
Ariana & Evans has its very own vegan soap base, VR1. The base contains coconut milk and rice milk, which provide excellent skin conditioning properties both during and after wet shaving. There are several different scents to choose from and the matching aftershave ones are often available. The VR1 base is a favorite because it takes all the good features of the K2e base but does not contain any animal products.
In the base there are several oils such as sunflower oil, coconut oil and avocado oil, among others, all with very good skin care properties.
Pedro Fiasco
Pedro Fiasco is one of Ariana & Evans’ most popular soap bases, it’s easy to see why.
Inspired by the K2e base, this soap is made with the tallow and fat of pigs and cows, offering superior performance and a smooth, creamy foam. Beer is also an important ingredient that contributes to its richness.

Ultima
The Ultima soap base from Ariana & Evans is their premium product, taking the best from previous soap bases such as K2e and Pedro Fiasco and enhancing it even further.
Ingredients such as lard from pig and tallow from cow add creaminess to the shaving foam. There is a variety of scents to choose from, both classic and modern, and in most cases there is a suitable aftershave to extend the scent with.
