Help! I got cuts when wet shaving!

Suffered cuts while wet shaving? Hopefully, you’re not standing right now with a bleeding wound on your face, and if it was even worse, you’ll have to go to an important meeting, a lecture, or an important date. You were just supposed to shave before, but there you are now, with a cut on your face and don’t know what to do at all.

Don’t worry, there is help available, and it can also be prevented. Let us help you to a safer and more comfortable wet shave without annoying cuts. No, not everything will work for everyone, and not everything will be needed, at least not at the same time. But what should you do? Let’s take it in turn to avoid cuts when wet shaving.

Change razor blades often!

Why do you change your socks every day? To keep your feet clean and fresh. In addition, they feel good about it. Do you change your toothbrush often because you know it’s good for your teeth? Good, too. That’s why it’s also important to change your razor blade often, so that your skin and beard feel good about it. It’s that simple. So change your razor blades often and avoid cuts when wet shaving!

So why does the skin feel good about it? If you use a razor blade that is dull, that does not shave in the way you want, there is a risk that you will have significantly more pressure on the razor than you need. In fact, you shouldn’t need a lot of pressure on the razor – it should do the job for you. Greater pressure on the razor and razor blade increases the risk of injuries, such as cuts.

A sharp, sharp razor blade will also have an easier time cutting off the beard hair in one go without you having to shave the same place again, further reducing the risk of cuts when wet shaving.

Use a pre-shave

Shaving means a lot of wear and tear on your skin and you can get cuts when wet shaving. When the razor meets the skin, you want good friction to make it glide easily and reduce the risk of cuts. The most basic, or rather, mandatory thing you should do to avoid cuts is to always shave with shaving soap or shaving foam that you have created a shaving foam from and applied to the area where you shave. Never shave if you don’t have shaving foam on your skin to protect it!

To get extra protection for the skin and moisturize it, which can further reduce the risk of cuts, you can use a pre-shave. A pre-shave is applied to the skin before applying shaving cream or shaving soap and only needs to be applied once. The pre-shave cream provides increased protection by protecting the skin and moisturizing it.

Pre-shave is available in several different varieties, such as solid soap, shaving oil or shaving cream (lotion). You don’t need to use a large amount and you only need to apply where you intend to shave. An easy way to avoid cuts when wet shaving.

Help! I got cuts from the wet shaving anyway!

But okay, you’ve got cuts when wet shaving even though you have new, fresh and sharp double razor blades and you’ve used a pre-shave. What are you going to do now? Use an old proven method with natural ingredients that have been used for generations: alum stick or alum stone.

While it may seem like hocus pocus, alum sticks and alum stones are not magic when it comes to counteracting cuts on the face. But it can almost seem like it.

So why is alum stone or alum stick a perfect choice for healing and preventing cuts on the face?
