How to use beard oil?
It should be used primarily on clean and dry beards. The more moisture there is in the beard and skin, the more difficult it is for the oil to penetrate the beard hairs and pores where it is useful. It is also important to use a moderate amount. Just a few drops goes a very long way. There is no reason to overdose. It’s better to take a little too little than too much first. Then apply more if needed. Too much oil can give a greasy impression of your beard.
In the beginning, it can be good to take a little less than you intend to. This gives you the opportunity to apply in an easy way without getting unnecessary on your hands or beard. Something that can make the beard look too greasy and oily.
Feel free to start by taking a hot shower. It opens up the pores of the skin and makes it easier for the oil to penetrate.
You can also moisten your skin and or beard with a warm damp towel. This is also how the barber prepares the beard. Then make sure that most of the moisture is gone. Feel free to brush and comb your beard as well to remove dirt and other things that may be stuck in the beard.

Take a few drops in the palm of your hand and rub it in slightly to make it easier to distribute in the beard. Then work in evenly over the entire beard. You can also use a beard brush and or a beard comb to even more finely distribute the oil.

Expand your beard care routine with beard balm
Using beard oil is a great start if you want to create a simple beard care routine. A bottle of beard oil and a beard brush are really all you need to get started. In addition, something you can last a very long time on as well.
The next step that we recommend is to get a beard balm. Especially if you have a longer and/or thicker beard, this can be a good idea. Beard balm has similar properties to the oil and gives even more luster and volume to the beard. Something that can of course be welcome if you want a really thick full beard. Can be used as often as you use the oil. But remember to use beard oil before using beard balm for the best effect.
Clean beard with beard shampoo
Even if you only have stubble, a beard shampoo can really be good for both your beard and the skin under your beard. It cleans thoroughly deeply and removes anything that can damage the beard.
The easiest is to use beard shampoo in connection with showering or otherwise washing. Make sure to rinse off your beard appropriately. Massage in a suitable amount of beard shampoo. Remember that the purpose is to wash the skin under the beard as much as the beard itself. Then rinse off the beard shampoo.
How often should you use beard oil?
Beard oil can be used daily, even up to twice a day, morning and evening or as needed.
If you have a very sparse or short beard, it may be enough to just use the oil every other day.
There is rarely a reason to use it more than once or twice a day. It risks making the skin too oily and the beard too. Something that can give a less favorable appearance to the beard.
If you notice that your skin is reacting to the oil in any way that is unpleasant, you should of course stop using it immediately.

Basically, almost all oils are the same. They contain a number of different oils, possibly other ingredients and of course fragrance essences. The various oils are almost exclusively vegetable and several of the products are completely vegan. Sunflower oil, jojoba oil, and argan oil are three common natural oils that may occur.
