Why should I have a trimmer?

When is the best time to trim your beard?
Make sure the beard is clean and dry when trimming it. Take a shower first or wash your beard by moistening it thoroughly and making sure it’s dry.
If the beard is very wet, water can damage your trimmer and it can get stuck in the beard. Also, avoid trimming beards that have various products in them like beard oil that can ruin your trimmer.
However, after you have trimmed it, you can advantageously use a little beard oil and/or beard balm to moisturize the beard, give it volume and luster. Feel free to use a brush and or a comb to finely distribute the products in the beard.
If you use a cordless trimmer, make sure it is fully charged before you start shaving, or make sure you have the cord close at hand. It can also be useful for longer shaves if the trimmer is running low on battery power.
Which hair and beard trimmer is best for me?
After all, in the end, it is your own personal taste that determines which trimmer suits you and your beard best. Something that can be good to look at is what different trim lengths different trimmer combs have. Trim length refers to the distance that the comb forms between the skin and the trimmer blade.
