The pure badger quality bristles are slightly coarser than other models, providing a massaging effect on the skin and making it easy to lather up a creamy foam. It is stiffer than other badger hair, but more flexible than pig bristles. The color of the hair varies from brown-grey to black.

Take care of your shaving brush by always rinsing it under warm running water after using it. Shake out the water and hang it to dry in a shaving brush rack with the bristles facing down. If moisture remains at the bottom, the glue can loosen, so hanging it allows water and soap residue to run off the brush.
