Easy to use
Proraso shaving cream can be applied to the face directly with the fingers and palm of the hand or using a shaving brush, which is recommended. Either apply a little shaving cream directly to a damp shaving brush and then on your face. Alternatively, in a small shaving bowl or shaving cup together with a little water, it gives the absolute best result. The feeling of standing in the morning with a shaving mug with a small dollop of Proraso shaving cream that you whip into a lovely shaving foam is amazing. Then when the scent hits you, the day can be nothing but wonderful. Something that must be experienced. If you want to enhance the feeling further, feel free to supplement with a Proraso pre-shave cream and aftershave.
Lovely scents
What we think is the best thing about Proraso shaving cream is the scent. There is a fragrance for everyone. If you want a slightly milder scent, our personal favorite, Nourishing (Red) is recommended. Here it smells classic and timeless of sandalwood and shea butter. Suitable for all beard types but especially coarser, thicker and curly beards. For those who really want an explosion of fragrance every time, we recommend the Refreshing (Green) series with scents of eucalyptus and menthol. A scent that is guaranteed to wake you up in the morning. If you have sensitive skin, there is of course one for you too, Sensitive (White) with a faint scent of oats and green tea. Or why not the Protective series (blue) with a lovely scent of aloe vera and green tea. For an even more intense and longer fragrance experience, you can supplement with Proraso pre-shave cream, which is applied before and after shave, which is available in the same scents.
Natural content
The fact that Proraso contains approximately 90-91 percent natural ingredients is another reason to recommend these products. None of Proraso’s shaving creams contain parabens, phthalates, silicone, mineral oils, artificial colours or sodium laureth sulphate. Proraso shaving cream is also a completely vegan product, i.e. no products with animal content. The packaging is recycled as metal packaging and the cap as plastic. The product is very durable also with a long shelf life.
We recommend Proraso shaving cream
When asked which shaving cream we recommend, Proraso shaving cream is always the one we recommend. Why do we do that? It has a very high quality (with 90-91 percent natural content) at a low price. The shaving cream is also very long, it doesn’t take much more than a pinky fingernail to cover a wet shave.
What we like about Proraso shaving cream is first and foremost how easy it is, even if you have never used shaving cream in a tube before. Getting started and using it is very fast and does not require much practice. We use it with a shaving brush either just directly on the shaving brush or together with a shaving cup. Our personal favorite is Nourishing with a scent of sandalwood and shea butter. But few things make me wake up as quickly in the morning as shaving with Refershing, smelling the scent of menthol and eucalyptus. In winter or high summer when the skin can be extra sensitive, Sensitive or Protective is an obvious choice.
