Founded by Alexander Simpson in the East End of London in 1919, Simpsons began by producing handmade shaving brushes of fantastic quality that have made them award-winning and acclaimed worldwide.

Handmade British shaving brushes

Since its inception, the company has relocated its production a couple of times and in 2008 it was bought by Progress Vulfix. Progress Vulfix has continued the tradition of exclusively handmade shaving brushes. In this way, Simpson has maintained the great quality by continuing in the same spirit and manufacturing the products according to the same tradition and technology as when the company started.
